Hot Chocolate Drink with A Color Throwdown #428 and Freshly Made Sketches #273

Hello Family, Friends and Stampers!

Thank you for stopping in Today!
(wish I could have a Coffee with you! Or Hot Chocolate!)

I combined 3 Challenges!

One is a Color Challenge and
One is a Sketch Challenge and
One is a Theme Challenge!

Here is the Sketch Challenge

Here is the Color Challenge

(Red-Pink-Chocolate)

Here is the Theme Challenge!

 Christmas Card Throwdown
I needed another Valentine...took artistic license!

Here is my Card!

Here is a close-up of the mug!

Here is the inside of my Card!
(I used the same three colors for the Hearts!)

And here is the stamped to match Envelope!

Here are the Stock and Measures:

Classic Stampin' Ink:

'Chocolate Chip'-swoosh and inside heart
'Real Red'-swoosh and inside heart, inside sentiment,
heart for mug
'Flirty Flamingo'-swoosh and inside heart

Stampin'Up! Cardstock:
'Chocolate Chip'- 2 1/2 x 2 1/2" piece for the mug.
Die-cut the mug and set aside.

'Whisper White Thick'-cut at 11" x  4 1/4" scored at

5 1/2" and folded in half on the score line.
Stamp the 3 Swooshes.
Scrap of regular 'Whisper White' regular for the mug's 'heart',
and the 'steam heart'.
Stamp the hearts.
Die-cut the little heart with the Framelit.
The 'steam heart' I cut out by hand.
Using 'Mini Glue Dots' adhere the mug over the 3 bands of color.
Put a 'Mini Glue Dot' on the back of the very tip of the 'steam'
and tuck under the 'brim' of the 'mug'.
Put another 'Mini Glue Dot' under the 'steam heart' to hold in place

Stampin'Up! Stamp Sets:
'Sealed With Love'-greeting, mug heart, inside hearts and inside
sentiment.
'A Nice Cuppa'-retired, 'heart steam'

Framelits:
'Love Notes Framelits'-heart on mug
'Holiday Collection'-retired, for the 'mug'

Simple!
I love the colors in the Challenge! Yummy!

Here is your 'C' note!

I'll take Three!
Heck, we all could use a hug or two, or three!

Until the next Post...Blessings and Huggies to you ALL!

Great job at combining all three challenges in one fantastic card. I like the colors and the fact you finished the inside too.. I really struggle with that, I usually just stamp the front and leave the inside with nothing, so I think it's super impressive nice touch. Have a great week.

This is a fun and warm looking card and I'm always impressed when people remember to do the envelope too. I rarely do but it looks so good.
Thanks for playing along at Christmas Card Throwdown.
