Floral Boutique for Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #84

Hello Stampers, Family and Friends!

I used 2 Challenges for this Card!

The First Challenge is for Stamp Ink paper #84

Here is that Challenge...it is a 'Tic Tac Toe' challenge!

I missed the Post for the 'Match This Sketch' Challenge below.
I decided to use the Layout from that Challenge anyway!

Here's the Layout:

The 'Stamp Ink Paper' Challenge:

For this Challenge I used the 'Left' column:
Blue---Baker's Twine---Die Cut

Here is my Card:

I learned to tie this new 'bow' from a fellow
Stampin'Up! Demonstrator,
Billie Moan at 'Rambling Rose'.

I decided to give it a try for this Card!
I think it turned out pretty good!
Not as pretty as hers, but it's close!
Here's a close-up!

You can also see the 'dragonfly' Die Cut!

Here is the inside of the Card:

Here is the Card with a piece of matching DSP, adhered
to the flap of the envelope, and then trimmed to fit!

Here is the Card Front again:

Here are the Stock and Measures:

Stampin'Up! Cardstock:

'Whisper White Thick' Cardstock, cut 5 1/2" x  8", scored at
4 1/4" and folded in half on the score line.

'Whisper White' Regular Cardstock-Square  3 1/4" x  3 1/4"
'Whisper White'-Regular Cardstock-Rectangle  1 3/4" x  3 1/2"

'Night of Navy'-Square  3 1/8" x  3 1/8"
'Night of Navy'-Rectangle  1 5/8" x  3 3/8"
and for little 'dragonfly' (it is cut off from the 5 dragonfly's. Save the other 4 for another card!)

DSP:
'Floral Boutique' DSP
Mat- 4" x  5 1/4"-adhere to front of card

Square- 3" x  3"-adhere to 'Night of Navy' square
Rectangle- 1 1/2" x  3 1/4"-adhere to 'Night of Navy' rectangle

(then attach those to their respective 'Whisper White' square and rectangle)
Adhere the 'rectangle' and the 'square' together as shown on card.
Do not attach them to card, yet!

Classic Stampin' Ink:
'Night of Navy'-inside sentiment

Stampin'Up! Stamp Sets:
'Swan Lake'-inside little 'dragonfly'
'Express Yourself'-retired, inside sentiment

Ribbon:
'Night of Navy' Seam Binding-
cut to 4 1/2" wrap around  both mats with DSP and secure with adhesive or 'Mini Glue Dots' on the back. Now attach to the card!
To make the bow: Wrap 'Night of Navy' ribbon around four fingers, four times, tie the middle with a tight knot with a piece
of 'Whisper White Baker's Twine'.
'Whisper White Baker's Twine'-
To make Baker's Twine bow:
Wrap some 'Whisper White Baker's Twine' around your first
two fingers twice and then continue down to wrap all
four fingers twice with more 'Whisper White Baker's Twine'
slip off your fingers and kind of center the circles, then tie around the center, with another piece of another 'Baker's Twine' tied in a knot. Trim off ends.
Attach 'Baker's Twine Bow' to 'Night of Navy' Bow'
with 'Mini Glue Dots'.
Attach the 'double bow' to the card with a couple more
'Mini Glue Dots'.

Other Stampin'Up! Items used:
'Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies'
After running the 'dragonfly's' die through your 'Big Shot',
snip off the top 'dragonfly, add a 'Mini Glue Dot' to the underside and then stick onto the card below the bow.
'Rhinestone Basic Jewel'-add to the top of the dragonfly.
'Mini Glue Dots'-to adhere bows and 'dragonfly'

Adhere the strip of DSP to the inside of the card, stamp the sentiment.

'Tom Bow Multi-Purpose Glue':
Add some 'Multi-Purpose' Glue to the back of the flap on the 'Medium Size Envelope'.
Lay a piece of DSP over the flap, lining up with the top of the fold, press down to adhere.
Turn envelope over and trim off excess DSP around the flap.

I hope you give this a try! It reads harder than it really is!

Here is your 'C' note!

Yup! I see both!
.

Until the next Post...Blessings and Love to you ALL!
