Party Animal with FMS 268

Hello Friends and Stampers!

Well, we experienced our first snow here in NC!
Needless to say...it was uneventful.
We dodged a bullet...we only got a dusting.
The predictions were...Heavy rain, to sleet, to ice, to snow.
1-3 inches.
We got the heavy rains. Very little sleet or ice.
The snow was a real fine snow. We were dusted!
However it will take a couple of days to melt.
The temps right now are in the 20's with wind chills
in the teens. Not to worry!
Thursday we will be back up to 70!
Go figure!

Anyway on to today's Card!
I used Challenge #268 from Freshly Made Sketches.

You can see where I stamped off on the paper!

Here is the Card!

The Base Card is 'Thick Whisper White' Cardstock.
The mat is Regular 'Whisper White' Cardstock, stamped
with the confetti stamp from the 'Balloon Adventures' Stamp Set.
The DSP is called 'Party Animal'! Both pieces are from that stack!
I stamped the confetti in 'Emerald Envy' Classic Stampin' Ink.
I used 2 Stampin' Write Markers in 'Crushed Curry'
and 'Pacific Point' and made dots of color in with the 'confetti'!
The Balloons are Stamped in those two same colors with the stamps from the same 'Balloon Adventures' Stamp Set.
They are then punched out with the 'Balloon Bouquet' Punch.
The banner is also Stamped in 'Emerald Envy' with another stamp
from the 'Balloon Adventures' Stamp Set. The end of the banner
was punched with the 'Triple Banner' Punch. The 'balloons' are
attached to the front with "Stampin' Dimensionals".

The inside Sentiment is stamped in the 'Emerald Envy' Classic Stampin' Ink. The sentiment is from the 'Balloon Adventures' Stamp Set. The 2 'balloons' flanking the sentiment are from the
'Birthday Bright' Stamp Set. The 2 Stamp Sets are in the New
'Occasions Catalog'.

The 'Medium Size' Envelope was stamped with 2 of the stamps from 'Balloon Adventures'. 'Crushed Curry' confetti and an 'Emerald Envy' Balloon.

Do you make a card and then look at it and think next time I'll do such and such? Sometimes I do, most times it is while the card is in the making...this one, I think I will 'mat' the DSP. I may redo this and I will post the 'do over' in another posting.

Till the next Post...Blessings to you ALL! Stay Warm!
