"L" is for...

Hello Friends and Stampers!

"L" is for...'Lovely as a Tree'.

I have been stamping with Stampin'Up! for close to 10 years.
This particular stamp set is one of the longest running stamp sets
that Stampin'Up! has carried in their Catalog!
It is a very popular and versatile stamp set.
As you can see, it is in the old 'clamshell' clear plastic container.

Here it is out of the 'clamshell' so you can see the different trees,
it has an 'oak branch with acorns' and small 'pine sprig' and a 'pinecone'
and a tiny leaf.

I used the grouping of trees for today's card.
I have used the single tree for many Christmas Cards in the past too!
The short stocky tree is a great one for masculine cards.
So many uses! I think it has remained, because it can span almost
all the major 'Holidays'!

Here is today's card. It is a variation on a card I made several years
ago for my Christmas Cards one year! That particular card
was a gate-fold card. I did half in 'Basic Black' and the
other half in 'Real Red' Cardstocks.

I love 'Real Red', 'Basic Black', and 'Whisper White' for a
Christmas Card color combination.

'Basic Black' is the card base, with 'Real Red' and 'Whisper White' mats
and Stamped card front panel. The trees were stamped in 'Versa Mark' and the heat embossed in 'Black Stampin' Emboss Powder with the 'Heat' tool.
The 'star' was also stamped in 'Versa Mark' and heat embossed in 'Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder with the 'Heat' tool. The Greeting is stamped
in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The Greeting is from the 'Star of Light'
Stamp Set, also the 'star' is from the same stamp set.

Here is a close up of the 'Silver' Star!

The inside Sentiment was also stamped in Memento Tuxedo black Ink.
The Sentiment is from the 'Star of Light' Stamp Set.

The 'Medium Size Envelope' was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink with only 'part' of the same stamp used on the card front!
The star was also stamped in 'Versa Mark' and heat embossed with the
'Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder'.

Isn't it Cute?

The Flap of the 'Medium Size Envelope' also was stamped!
That greeting is from the 'Star of Light' Stamp Set!
Love that Stamp Set!

Here they are together! Ready for getting addressed, stamped and mailed!

Are you getting your cards done? Are they done?
Are they ready to get addressed?
My cards are made, ready to be addressed and then mailed.
The cards I am making now will be gifts.

Until next Post...Blessings and Love to you ALL!
